EMW
Women's Surgical Center
is the only licensed gynecologic surgery center in Kentucky offering
abortion services.
Our focus is to provide women with reproductive health choices in
the safest, most comfortable and least painful manner. We offer
general anesthesia (completely asleep) to all our patients at no
additional cost.
Our Staff:
EMW Women's Surgical Center is owned and staffed by two board certified
Obstetrician/Gynecologists who are also on the faculty of the University
of Louisville School of Medicine. Our doctors have been performing
abortions since 1980. In addition to their excellent medical techniques
and surgical skills they are deeply dedicated to the overall health
and well being of their patients.
We have a Certified Licensed Nurse Anesthetist, Registered Nurses
and a Medical Assistant, all of whom are available to give our patients
excellent medical care as well as emotional support.
Our Counselor is compassionate and dedicated to each individual
patient and available to talk to you before, during, and after your
visit.
You will find our reception staff compassionate, kind and helpful
at the time you make your appointment. Your appointment is kept
confidential from your first phone call to us.
We understand that there are many different reasons and circumstances
that has brought you to a decision to have an abortion and it is
important to us that you are given answers to all your questions
and concerns before having the procedure done. It is important to
us that our patients feel cared for, heard and understood. Our goal
is to treat our patients with kindness, diginity and respect. We
believe that each woman is an individual with feelings, dreams and
goals and that you have a right to your reproductive options. Permitted
to make your own choices, you can design and create a life that
is uniquely yours.
